Corporate history

Sonus Networks was founded in 1997.[5] The company went public in May 2000.[6]

On April 18, 2008, Sonus acquired Atreus Systems, a supplier of service provisioning software for VoIP and IMS-based services.[1][7]

In 2008, CEO Hassan Ahmed resigned. In 2009, Howard E. Janzen joined as the Chairman of the Board after Ahmed.[8] In October 2010 Raymond P. Dolan was appointed as CEO of Sonus Networks.[9]

In February 2011, Sonus appointed Rajiv Laroia as CTO .[10] In early May 2011 Sonus appointed Todd Abbott as Senior VP of Worldwide Sales.[11] In August 2011, Sonus appointed Moe Castonguay as Senior VP and Chief Financial Officer.[12]
